Six pillars of change shaping a brighter future for every Indian.
Education is the most powerful tool to break the cycle of poverty. UHCF's Education Initiative was launched in 2012 with just one learning centre in Delhi, and has grown to 45 centres across 8 states, directly educating over 15,000 children annually.
Our programme doesn't just teach — it transforms. We provide free books, uniforms, meals, and mentorship alongside academic support. Our digital literacy component ensures no child is left behind in the technology age.
Disease and poor health rob families of their potential. UHCF's Health Programme conducts free medical camps, provides medicines, and facilitates specialist consultations for communities who would otherwise go untreated.
Since 2014, we have conducted over 300 health camps across rural and urban India, treating 1.2 lakh patients. Our maternal health programme has helped reduce infant mortality in our service areas by 35%.
Hunger is a crisis that strikes at the root of human dignity. UHCF's Food Security Programme runs daily community kitchens, conducts ration drives, and distributes meals during festivals, disasters, and emergencies.
We have served over 5 lakh meals to date, reaching slum dwellers, street children, elderly individuals, and migrant workers. Our 'Roti Bank' receives surplus food from weddings and events to redistribute to the needy.
Climate change disproportionately affects the poor. UHCF's Environmental Actions programme creates awareness, plants trees, promotes recycling, and advocates for sustainable practices in communities and schools.
We have planted over 10,000 trees across 8 states, conducted 200+ eco-awareness workshops, and facilitated the formation of 50 local Green Committees that independently manage environmental activities.
Millions of Indians lack access to safe drinking water, leading to preventable diseases and death. UHCF's Clean Water Projects install filtration units, repair hand pumps, build toilets, and promote water conservation habits.
Since 2018, we have installed 120 water purification units, repaired 300 hand pumps, and reached 40,000 individuals with safe water access. We work with Panchayats and local governments for long-term maintenance.
Women are the backbone of every family and community. UHCF's Women Empowerment Programme provides skill training, microfinance, legal awareness, and leadership development to help women achieve financial independence and social confidence.
We have trained 8,000+ women in tailoring, beauty, handicrafts, and digital skills. Our 'Shakti Groups' (self-help groups) have helped 2,000+ women access microloans worth ₹1.5 crore to start their own businesses.
Your contribution fuels all six of these life-changing initiatives. Every donation, however small, creates ripples of change.
